I prefer drawing objects, like plants and everyday home stuff. Home means everything to me and
over the years I’ve tried to create a peaceful, cheerful, happy one for us.
It brings me such joy to sit in a room and draw what’s there or to recreate a scene from a favorite coffee table book or magazine.
My drawings evolve and grow with each layer of detail, sometimes more, sometimes less. I get thoroughly lost in the process.
The resulting pieces are imperfect and whimsical, full of character and stories to tell.
